Safety Tips for Restaurants
Do’s
- Ensure adequate ventilation and raise an alarm in case of a gas leak.
- Store cylinders in a cool place, away from sparks, flames, and high heat.
- Avoid using LPG in windy conditions; suspend operations in unsafe situations.
- Use a safety cap and move the cylinder to an open area if valve leakage is suspected.
- Read and follow the manufacturer's operating instructions carefully.
Don’ts
- Do not store cylinders horizontally; always keep them upright.
- Avoid exposing cylinders to direct or indirect heat.
- Do not connect cylinders without inspecting the valve and O-ring.
- Avoid leaving unused or unconnected cylinders in the system.
- Prevent unauthorized access to the cylinder storage area.
- Refrain from using battery-operated or electrical devices near the LPG shed.
